SEEDs COMPANY
SEEDs company is CobosMika’s Junior Company. It consists of up to 15 dancers selected through an audition process.
Goal
The programme focuses on creation and performance, with the aim of providing a broad understanding of the profession with a balance between each dancer’s individual interests and the thier artistic development before taking the step into professional life.
The dancers-performers will learn and rehearse choreographies of prominent and renowned national and international choreographers, embracing a diverse repertory as well as introducing them a variety of choreographic methods and artistic approaches.
Programme
Besides working with different choreographers, the programme also welcomes a wide range of guest artists who introduce to diverse movement languages, creative approaches and dance techniques.
The results of these creative processes are presented during the year at:
- Theatres in the area
- Circuits and Festivals in the area
- At international level, through exchanges with collaborators

Added value
Being part of SEEDs Company offers dancers the opportunity to experience what it means to be a member of a professional dance company during nine months (the duration of the project).
As part of this innovative programme, dancers-performers are enouraged to expand their practice by embracing creative challenges. They work both independently and collaboratively while building meaningful connections with internationally renowed artists and expanding thier professional network.
Venue
SEEDs Company is based at the Espai de Creació CobosMika although it will also work in residence in different locations of the area.
Duration
From October to June. Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:30h.
